Red Faction Armageddon is the fourth installment of the previous Red Faction series which included Red Faction 1, 2 and Red Faction:Guerrilla. The new installment, Red Faction Armageddon PC, places you in the shoes of Darius Mason who is the grandson of Martian Revolutionary heroes Alec Mason and Samanya, who were the main characters in the third installment of the franchise. Darius has to save mankind from a resurfaced race of martian creatures which were once dormant. Due to damage to a terraformer which supplies Mars with air and water similar to planet earth, the entire climate changes and creates havoc. This forces all the inhabitants to move underground. An alien race known as Plague gets released through a seal which is opened by Darius's arch rival Adam Hale.
