God of War:Ascension Special Edition (PS3) was released in 2013 and developed by Santa Monica Studio. Its the seventh episode in the God of War sequence and prequel to the whole series. With a close reference to Greek mythology, this Ascension Special Edition (PS3) Game has vengeance as its primary motive. The player has to control Kratos, the protagonist and former servant of Ares, the God of War, who trapped Kratos to kill his spouse and child. The enraged Kratos then broke the blood oath and renounced Ares, which led to his imprisonment by three Furies, the enforcers of punishment and guardians of honour. With the support of oath keeper orkos Kratos manages to escape imprisonment and overpower the Furies. Though he is released from Ares bond, the nightmares plague him all through his adventurous journey.
